Thursday morning
Good morning all, well the last of my magic stock ended up in some leek and potato soup. The end of a sourdough loaf made crisp crunchy garlic croutons. Then I quit, I was all cooked out and for supper, I had a truly naughty old-fashioned fish and chip supper. Plenty of greasy batter and soggy chips. The fish was lovely and I had some help with the batter and chips. Dogs are very good at saving you from yourself. It is another perishingly cold day today down to 1ºC we have been so spoiled with the lovely autumn weather I think we might even be in for a white Christmas. Today I have an appointment to have my nails done. I have not had them done all summer which has allowed them to grow out nice and strong. I am in a bit of a quandary as to what to have for lunch I have some pork mince and some beef mince which really gives me endless things I could make.
