Thursday morning
Good morning all another bright start to the day and I slept really well last night having been like a half-dead dog all day yesterday. I find the older I get the less able I am to manage with no sleep. I was just reading Joy's blog and she said that rain is forecast later in the day and I was just thinking that is exactly what the garden needs. It has been dry for quite some time and the garden is very dry. I hope we have enough time to get some laundry processed but a bit of rain would be appreciated. I suppose it is one of the advantages of gardening you learn to appreciate rain it is so much easier than watering. Some years back we had a draught and were saving every drop of water for the garden as there was a hosepipe ban in force.
